1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

Account and order data: name, email address, delivery address, phone number, order history and the products, quantities and options you select at checkout.

Payment data: we do not store your full card or bank details ourselves. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, Klarna, and the card networks Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and iDEAL as applicable). They collect and process your payment details directly under their own privacy policies.

Contact form data: name, email address, subject and message when you write to us through the Contact page.

Newsletter data: your email address if you subscribe for restock alerts and updates.

WhatsApp and messaging data: if you contact us via WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and message content according to WhatsApp's own terms.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and general usage patterns, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy / cookie settings for details and to manage your preferences.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

We use your data to: process and deliver your orders, including sharing your name, address and order details with our shipping carriers; create and manage your account if you register one; respond to questions sent through our Contact form or WhatsApp; send order confirmations, shipping updates and, where you have opted in, marketing emails about restocks and new batches; detect and prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations; improve the website based on aggregated usage data.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are: performance of a contract (processing your order), legal obligation (invoicing, tax records), consent (newsletter emails, non-essential cookies), and legitimate interest (fraud prevention, website security and improvement).

4. Who we share your data with

We share data only where necessary to run the business: payment processors (Stripe, Klarna and the card/wallet networks above) to process payment; shipping carriers to deliver your order; hosting and IT service providers who store our data on our behalf; tax and regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. International transfers

If any provider we use stores or processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by Dutch tax law (currently 7 years). Account data is kept for as long as your account is active, and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after you close your account or request deletion, unless we are legally required to keep it longer. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations; object to or restrict certain processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, such as newsletter emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site (cart, checkout, language and currency preferences) and, where you consent, analytics and marketing cookies to understand site usage and improve our service. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

10. Children

Our products and services are intended for buyers aged 18 and over, in line with our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
